I prepare students for the 11+ and 13+ / Common Entrance English exams and specialise in interviews for public schools. This is either done online or in the student’s house. To date everyone has achieved his / her desired results.

One-to-one tuition ensures a totally personalised approach, so students’ weak areas are targeted and specific linguistic problems are resolved.

Lessons are a mixture of different topics, to maintain interest levels, and I try to make them fun and entertaining. We maintain a structured and rigorous approach, with regular homework which I comprehensively mark and go through in detail before the next class. Interview skills, techniques and questions are drilled so the student can show off his or her full potential.

At the same time as tutoring for these exams, I like to look at all aspects of a student’s exposure to the English language. A variety of different reading and listening media is not only fun, when chosen correctly, but is hugely beneficial to a student’s vocabulary, grammar, speaking and writing skills, largely subconsciously.
